The public server has been moved to a new host. This has many advantages over the old public server:

Faster hardware
Better handling of non-ascii characters
Currently not blocked by Travian, so no need for an external secondary proxy (yet)

VilloFetch is BACK!
I bypassed the Travian restrictions by means of a public free proxy: VilloFetch doesn't get the Travian pages directly, but it uses another server, so that our IP is disguised and the requests don't get blocked. The bad thing is that, being this a public free proxy, it is a bit slow and may not be up forever. Furthermore, as they find out about this proxy, they might decide to block that one too. So enjoy while it lasts! (or use a Secret Domain)

VilloFetch is no more. The Travian team has blocked access to all Travian servers from our IP Address, the result being the following error: "net.ghezzi.houdini.FetchException: org.apache.http.conn.ConnectTimeoutException". There's nothing we can do about it. If we move to a new server, they will quickly find out our new IP Address and block that one too. For more information see the forum

There has been a sudden increase in VilloFetch popularity recently. According to Google Analytics, pageviews have risen 20 times, from an average of 150k per day to almost 3 millions! We are closely monitoring our server in order to anticipate any overload, and we're getting increasingly worried: CPU load is constantly between 80% and 90%, which means that soon the server maximum capacity will be reached. We will probably have to invest in new servers. This is why from today we're asking for a small (2 USD) PayPal donation:
